DDD Plant Supervisor

DDD PlantSupervisor is the product from Technology Transfer System thought for the remote supervising of production plants.

Complex manufacturing plants, composed by many machining centers and automatic handling systems can be frequently very difficult to be inspected at production time. Moreover, the camera based systems which are often applied to these plants are not suitable to provide a comprehensive picture of the state of single components. Based on the same engine of the DDD MachineNC and on the DDD proprietary simulation libraries, DDD PlantSupervisor can concurrently interface many different stations, each one equipped with its own NC, in order to obtain a realistic 3D picture of the state of the plant.

DDD PlantSupervisor can communicate with every kind of control thanks to the possibility to fully customize the I/O module. Also the response of the simulation model is completely programmable thanks to the framework provided by TTS. In this way, with DDD PlantSupervisor, it is possible to control the desired animation level which can start from the pure workpiece motion management to the simulation of every single auxiliary on/off.

Thanks to the “point and click” interaction with the 3D simulation window, DDD PlantSupervisor allows the user to query at every moment the status of sensible elements of the plant in order to visualize specific data read from the NC.

The multi-platform support is a prerogative of the DDD libraries and of the majority of the Technology Transfer System products: therefore DDD PlantSupervisor can be run on Windows (XP, Vista and 7), Linux and Mac systems.

DDD PlantSupervisor is sold in two versions: “Desktop” for the execution on standard PC platforms and “Touch” to be run on large multi-touch tables produced by Technology Transfer System.
