Multi-touch device
Latest years have witnessed a great diffusion of multi-touch technologies, now adopted in many different contexts (industrial or not). The great evolution in the hardware multi-touch relies on, is the major reason for such a trend. In parallel, many software applications exploiting opportunities and benefits of the technology are now on the market, allowing their adopters to experience incomparable man-machine interactions and effective realism. Even major software companies (e.g. Microsoft with its Windows 7 operating system), heavily invested in developing solutions based on intuitive "gesture" and enabling users, through simple tactile contacts with the monitor, to manipulate in a very natural way virtual objects and images without using mouse and keyboard.
In such a competitive context, TTS offers a completely new integrated solution formed by a hardware module (a desk or a totem, both suitable for an exhibition stand, a monitor with a multi-touch hardware and a PC) and a software module (gesture recognition libraries combined with the whole IceCube platform, here adapted in order to easy the multi-sensorial interaction between the adopter and complex virtual scenarios). To ensure long-lasting and tangible benefits to its customers, TTS also offers an effective 2-days-long training course meant to transfer to new adopters all the skills required to fully exploit the purchased solution.
Each customer has the chance to fully customize the entire solution, directly participating to the design and development of the hardware components (in order to simultaneously meet the IceCube technical specifications and the customer' marketing requirements): the client can select the monitor size (from 32 up to 50 inches), adopt the preferred multi-touch technology (6 or 32 contact points), customize the table frame in terms of style, colors and shapes.
TTS also offers a "standard" platform with excellent performances, manufactured together with qualified suppliers and assuring low costs and short delivery times.
