10 technicians and experts with background on informatics, mechanical engineering and industrial engineering form the TTS reference personnel, complemented with an extensive worldwide network of contacts with experts, scientists and knowledge providers coming from a wide number of sectors. Key persons belonging to the TTS reference personnel are briefly described below.

Prof. Dr. Eng. Claudio R. Böer

President

He obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 71 at the University of Turin, M.A.S. in Mechanical Engineering in year 75 at the University of Waterloo, Canada, Ph.D. in mechanical engineering in year 78 at Carleton University. He then worked with ABB Research Center in years 78/86, Tornos Bechler in years 86/91 and Charmilles Technology in years 91/92. From 88 to 96 project leader of the Applied Robotic Groups in the Institute for Industrial Technology and Automation(ITIA), National Research Council of Italy(CNR). Research Director at ITIA-CNR in years 97/04, Italy. From 93 he is partner of TTS. Presently he is president of TTS, Research Director at ICIMSI, Switzerland. He published more than 100 papers and 3 books.

Dr. Roberto Castellani

CEO

He obtained his degree in Computer Science in academic year 90/91 at University of Milano. He then worked with the Institute of Industrial Technologies and Automation(ITIA), part of the National Research Council of Italy, as a researcher, in the field of robitcs ans assembly system, as Assitant Director. From 93 till now he is a CEO of TTS, spin off company of ITIA-CNR.

Dr. Eng. Paolo Pedrazzoli

Paolo Pedrazzoli holds a Laurea in mechanical Engineering form the Polytechnic of Milan, achieved in academic year 1998/1999. He works, from 1999 to 2002, for the Institute of Industrial Technologies and Automation, National Research Council of Italy, as a researcher in the field of Assembly Systems, 3D simulation and CAx. From 2002, he works for TTS s.r.l. as 3D-Simulation and Knowledge Based System development responsible. Within TTS, he is also responsible for EC projects management. He becomes partner and technical director in 2003. From 2006 he also works for SUPSI, as responsible for the Bachelor of science in Industrial Eng. and for the Master of Science in Precision manufacturing.

Eng.Dr. Antonio Avai

Antonio Avai, a partner of the Company, has more than 20 year of experience with the discrete simulation technique and he has performed a variety of simulations projects in the manifacturing sector related to design and improvement of production and logistic processes. Presently, he is in charge of the TTS discrete event simulation unit.
